What is circuit breaker？
A circuit breaker (CB) is an electrical safety device used to protect a circuit from overcurrent or short circuit, whose basic function is to interrupt the current (disconnect the circuit) to protect the equipment (electrical appliances in the circuit) and prevent the risk of fire.
Thermal circuit breaker tripping is generally based on the principle of bimetal. There is a bimetal inside, when the current exceeds the rated, the bimetal will bend due to heating, and then trip the contact and break the circuit to pretected device.All Amomd circuit breaker are thermal circuit breaker.
Amomd circuit breaker can be used in low voltage DC(Only below 48v DC),the rating current is 30-250A(manual reset/auto reset with rocker),Interrupt Capacity is 1500A under 48V DC,2500A under 14V DC.
